Tactile Maps
Tactile maps allow access to visual graphical information for blind and partially sighted people and can greatly enhance their independence in areas such as leisure.
Consideration must be given to the combination of design and purpose of the map. An investigation of need should be carried out at the start: Who wants it? Why, how, where and when do they want to use it?
