Activities: The Turkmen Blind and Deaf Society is a non-governmental organization that has twelve training and production enterprises throughout the country and one supply base in Ashgabat. Over one thousand disabled people are employed by these enterprises. The Blind and Deaf Society organizes various sports and cultural events, provides free medical services to the disabled people of Turkmenistan and has special libraries for visually impaired people.
