Activities: St Lucia Blind Welfare Association (SLBWA) a non Govermental Organisation mandated
to provide education and vocational training, employment, training and also asssists generally with
the provision of social and other services for blind and visually impaired people. Prevention of blindness
is also a major priority of the SLBWA. It offers integrated education for blind and visually impaired
children. Rehabilitation services for blind adults, Braille and large print production, and special
therapeutic programmes for mulit-handicap blind children.
