Activities: The Centre provides educational provision for basic school and primary school pupils with visual impairment. The department of social education takes care of blind and visually impaired children at home or in kindergarden and enables them to be integrated into the ordinary schools. The centre also provides help and support for blind or visually impaired adults who want to learn Braille, orientation and mobility skills.

Activities: LASS unites people with visual disability; Cooperates with governmental institutions, seeks for adoption of acts favourable to people with visual disability; Assists the Government eliminating problems of the visually disabled. Prepares and implements programmes in such fields as rehabilitation, upbringing, occupational training and employment, adapted technology provision, health education, etc.; Aims to achieve the true integration of the blind and visually impaired into the open society; Seeks to adapt surroundings for people with visual disability; Publishes various publications for visually disabled people, cares for proper library services for them, and informs the general public.

Activities: Nursery, secondary and professional (computer writing and housekeeping) school for the blind and visually impaired. Computer centre provides courses, teaching practice and work placements. Also has social training and medical service departments and a library of special literature. Provides rehabilitation for those who have lost their sight.

Activities: Independent charity organization seeking to help Retinitis Pigmentosa sufferers. It consists of 230 members. The organisation has 11 sections in different cities of Lithuanian. Our union communicates information about new methods and devices for treament and relief of RP sufferers, integration of RP patients into society, representaition of the achievements scientists and ophthalmologists have made in the field of treatment of patients..
