Activities: HKI has been implementing eye health programs, primarily
onchocerciasis control, in Cameroon since 1992, and nutrition interventions
since 2000 as a partner of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), other
non-governmental development organizations and the affected communities.
Currently HKI-Cameroon's programs are focused on: Onchocerciasis Control
in endemic areas of Center Province; Onchocerciasis Control in endemic
areas of the East and Far North Provinces; Preventing Micronutrient Malnutrition;
Technical assistance to the National Program for the Prevention of Blindness
and Trachoma control activities.
